In order to prevent further spread of the Coronavirus (COVID19) infection and due to the announcement of Hungary’s Prime Minister on 9th November 2020 the University of Szeged will continue its education online as of November 16, 2020 till further notice.

In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, subject to the announcement of the Prime Minister on the 9th of November 2020, the University introduced new measures for all university citizens.

As the start of the academic year is approaching and as we would like to ensure that your arrival to Hungary and Szeged will be as smooth as possible, we provide you an information package containing further useful details regarding travel, accommodation self-quarantine and the start of the semester.

Consistent with the current pandemic situation in Hungary the University of Szeged is planning to start the education in the Academic Year of 2020-2021 in the form of the regular face-to-face learning on September 7th.
